Another night at this pleasant clean hotel. The rooms are better than most, good for families with children. There are two TVs and a separate room for the parents, children on the pull out. We requested a change of linens to feather-free and it was absolutely no problem, even on busy New Year's Eve. The room itself very clean, spotless fridge and kitchen area. Breakfast was good although I have seen better - in the fruit and yogurt dept. But these guys did serve bacon and you don't see that too often!!
Hotel was very clean and tidy. Our only disappointment was the pool temperature, too cold even for hardy youngsters. The hot tub was being cleaned while we were in the pool room so I cannot fairly comment there.

Stayed in many Homewood Suites before, but this is one of the best ones that I ever stayed. Very goo location, close to restaurants, Mall, shopping and accessible from route 95 and just 5 miles from downtown Portland.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The suite was immaculately clean, with all the appliances that you need for a short stay. The Two LCDs are great when you have family, and the living room has a DVD. The living room area is a nice size, great to stretch your feet after a long trip. The facilities are great, with the indoor swimming pool. My kids enjoyed it as it was warm (70 degrees)
The breakfast is nice. It's has a great buffet section. No fruits, but yogurts can be found. They have coffee 24 hours. We will be staying again in this hotel for our next trip to Portland. It's a great place to stay with or without family.

We concur with everything the other reviewers have said: this is a terrific hotel. Sparkling clean, friendly and efficient staff, excellent mattress and pillows, nice Neutrogena toiletries, even the (free) breakfast buffet was better than average. Only 5 minutes from downtown Portland and very convenient to I-95. If you are in the area, you can't go wrong staying here.

The Homewood Suites is my tempoary housing location in Scarborough and has proven to be a convenient, safe and comfortable option. It has a full size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. There are two room options here and this option has a separate bedroom, two TVs, small desk, conch and chair. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. They also offer dinner Monday through Thursday. I do wish the gym was larger. There are two treadmills and one elliptical.
