My mom and dad stay here, and love it, so me and my family (including an infant) Started staying here as well. We all love it so much, I told my husband's family about it and they stayed and loved it too. Very clean rooms. The room we rent is small, and neat with a kitchenette, but my friends have stayed in the new cottages and they are very spacious, their kids got their own room. This is the third time we've stayed here and for the reasonable rates you just can't beat it! There is a beautiful beach accessable by walking on a road that goes through this beautiful horse farm. The beach is never crowded. Everyone who works here is always very friendly, we will come back time and again, and they allow pets! Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a simple Maine vacation, we love it.

I stayed last year and decided to return in June 2010. There have been improvements including a renovated pool area. The walk to the beach is like going back in time; walking down the road through the horse farm. The room we stayed in - Long Sands is a renovated cottage with beach decorations. The staff is freindly and very helpful with recommendations. I plan to go back again this Fall.

Spent weekend with our friends in 2 adorable side by side cottages: Long Sand Cottage and Short Sands Cottage. We loved all the lovely decorations , very comfortable queen bed, and kitchenette. The grounds were lovely and we walked to the beach. Great prices compared to in the downtown port area. Will come back again! Hidden Gem.

Supposedly dog-friendly. Well, for $10 per pooch per night, you'd better watch out for the $50 "oops" fee, whether you clean it up or not. A truly weird experience, decor a la town dump; glad it was only 3 nights- and not even a coffee pot provided!
Don't go, it'll just make you angry, with all their crazy rules and regulations
