My wife and I have stayed at many B&B's in the US and Europe, and we agree that this one stands apart.
The view from the inn is spectacular -- sitting on the porch, you will look out over the ocean while hummingbirds and butterflies flutter around you.
Although I had read the reviews, I was still amazed at the food. Breakfast and dinner are creatively cooked with fresh ingredients. Everything has a little twist, such as watermelon in the salad, or edible flowers served as a garnish. The food is plentiful and comes often (pre-breakfast, breakfast, lunch, pre-dinner, dinner), yet you will be delighted with each new course. Lunch is a simple but refreshing packed lunch, thoughtfully arranged for a day of hiking.
Overall, I would especially recommend the inn for younger couples that would like to hike during the day and relax in comfort and good food at night. We found that two nights was sufficient to cover the surrounding hiking trails. I would definitely stay two nights, possibly three. To access the trails, you will need to ride some old fat-tire, single-speed bikes, which could be seen as part of the charm, though I found the five miles of biking more tiring than the several miles of sometimes steep hiking. Although you must do some biking to get anywhere, the trails are gorgeous, and you can do as much or little as you like.
We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms with a shared bath, which was fine. I'd recommend the room with a private bath if it is available.
The description on the inn's website of "your stay" is very accurate, so if that looks good to you, you'll definitely be glad you stayed.
