“Just as good 2nd time.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

This was the second time we stayed here, and it was just as wonderful, it not better, than before. The staff is superb, the breakfast better than last time, and the weather contributed to our confort. Now adding this Inn to one of our favorite places to get away in the Winter.

Room Tip: If possible, ask for Room 1...the best in the INN.

“Wonderful getaway.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

My husband,8 month old and myself stayed at the hotel for one night on January 21,2012. Someone recommended the sister property Lord Camden Inn. However I really wanted a soaker tub to just relax for abit. So we were pointed in the direction of the Grand Harbor Inn. I have to say we were very pleased. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff was wonderful when we checked in and thought the day & evening. The room looked like an upscale apartment, very comfortable king bed with fireplace in both livingroom & bedroom. Perfect on a snowy night. The breakfast included sounded like nothing special but when it arrived was great. Homemade granola, yogurt, croissant, fresh fruit and coffee we incredible. Even my husband who prefers eggs, bacon toast loved it and ate every bite. We will be going down again in March and will absolutely stay there again.

“Fabulous Winter Vacation spot in Camden, ME”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

We spent 3 nights at the Grand Harbor Inn in Camden, Maine from Dec. 26-29, 2011 and were totally enamoured with the facility! The ambiance was superb & the staff were extremely accommodating. We stayed in room #9 which had a lovely cupola room & the view from the cupola was right out Castine Harbor to Penobscot Bay. Continental breakfast in our room each morning, & the gas fireplace in the sitting area added a wonderful touch. A wonderful post Christmas retreat for us. We hope to return one day. The Inn is within walking distance of several very good restaurants. Being that it was Christmas time, the town was totally decorated with Christmas lights & even a big star was lit up on the top of Mount Battie. A few inches of snow that fell on Christmas Day made it the perfect spot to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary on Dec. 28th.

I would like to take the time to thank you for your review of your recent stay with us! In creating Grand Harbor Inn we aimed to provide travelers with an up close and personal experience of the Camden harbor while offering some of the finest amenities from around the world. I am pleased to learn you enjoyed your Grand Suite; room 9 is a beautiful room with plenty of space to relax including the bonus cupola living area. Our complimentary in-suite breakfast, designed for a “good start”, offers a nice light touch to the morning for our guest to leisurely enjoy while preparing for the days adventures. The holiday season in Camden is truly a beautiful time of year to enjoy the town and its surroundings, and I am happy to read your comments regarding the towns lighting and décor as I will be sure to pass these kinds words on to the commerce and businesses. The Christmas Day snowfall sure set the stage for a picturesque "White Christmas"!

Overall, we here at Grand Harbor Inn strive for excellence by providing both a relaxing ambiance and services to be remembered again and again.

We are happy to have been able to assist in creating a memorable 54th Wedding Anniversary, and look forward to return to Grand Harbor Inn during your next Midcoast Maine retreat!

Sincerely,
Erick Anderson

“It does not get any better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

Just imagine the sun coming up over one of the loveliest harbors in New England just outside your windows. The Grand Harbor Inn sits right in the heart of Camden, Maine a stone's throw from the water. The rooms all have super comfy beds with the finest linens. If you happen to be there on a chilly night you can light the gas fireplace.
You will want to eat the breakfast that is delivered to your room out on the balcony watching the old wooden schooners sailing in and out of the harbor.

Room Tip: Make sure you get one of the rooms facing the harbor. They may cost a bit more but the view is defin...

“Absolutely the Best Place to Stay in Camden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011

The Grand Harbor Inn is just that - grand. The rooms are superb. The staff is helpful in every way possible. The service is perfect. The location could be no better.

Our stay (3 days) spoiled us for any other place to stay when in this part of Maine.

We were in the Waterfront Grand Suites (room 1, I think) for the first 2 nights and then (because we couldn't get that room for our entire stay) moved to a slightly smaller room that was still sumptuous and comfortable in everyway.

I'll repeat, we are spoiled for any other small hotel/inn. I don't know how any can beat the Grand Harbor Inn.

Room Tip: Go ahead and splurge a bit and get one of the Waterfront Grand Suites. You will love it. The balco...
