The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. You are not going to find much in this area. I was told the International down the street was better.
My room was out dated, COLD!! Even though input the thermostat up. I had fruit flies hanging out around my bathroom sink !!

this isn't the Hilton but the rooms could use a facelift

We only chose this hotel because there were no other options in Calais. The room was old. The bathroom was straight out of a horror film complete with flickering lights. The hallway reeked of marijuana. Two of us saw something scurrying across the floor and into a hole the wall. Skip the continental breakfast and go to the dunkin donuts around the corner. The only good thing about this hotel was the lady at the front desk. She was pleasant and helpful.

Staid here for a business trip and will never go back! The room I got hadn't been cleaned since the previous occupants left. The 'do not disturb' sign was still on the door, there was half a pizza in the fridge, and dirty sheets on one of the beds. I later found the receipt for the pizza and it was from 5 DAYS previous. When I complained at the front desk I was treated poorly (they clearly did not care) and then woke up the next morning in my new room with flea bites! I will never recommend this place to anyone.

And they don't tell you that when you book.
Also, they had no seniors rate. 8-P
For what you get it is OVERPRICED.
I stayed in better rooms in INDIA. The walls are thick cement and NO decor.
Rugs are so dirty...I was concerned about walking on them.
