I stayed in this hotel as part of an overnight business trip to Shreveport and then rural Webster Parish. The rates (rack and government) were not bad - $75/$85 for a standard room which had tv, fridge and microwave. The king bed is really comfortable and clean. The bathroom and tub especially was clean. Being the dead of winter, I was using the heat, but barely. Without the heat on, the room got cold quickly. But if you turn the heat on, unless you like it stuff and hot, keep the heat near the lowest stage possible. I kept getting hot and had to cut the heat all the way down to its lowest setting.
The tv got plenty of stations that were adequate for a stay. They even had ESPNU.
The hotel is in a great location, just off of I-20 in Minden. I found it to be fairly quiet except for the loud trucks that would pull in or out from time to time. There isn't much around it. A gas station to the north and a thing or two across the street, but nothing major. We ate dinner in Shreveport. I didn't really care for the continental breakfast, but I generally don't anyway. If I eat breakfast, I prefer a IHOP or similar. Or I just wait for lunch.
All-in-all this was an excellent hotel given the location (away from major cities). I'd stay here again. I'd also advise that if you're traveling and need to stop before Shreveport or coming out of Shreveport, this is an excellent stop to make. It's about 20-24 minutes outside of the city. Don't stay in Bossier City unless you stay at a casino. Those hotels are awful (nearly all of them).
