We stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of January. This was our second time staying here. My favorite thing about this hotel is the comfy pillow-top beds. We also like the location on Causeway Blvd, which is right in the middle of everywhere we want to go and is just across the highway from Lakeside Mall (one of the most vibrant malls I've been to recently). We were very happy with our room until later in the week, when, one evening after coming back early, putting on our pajamas, and settling down for an evening of television, we were suddenly inundated with loud bass noise that drowned out the TV and which we finally realized was coming from downstairs. When we called the front desk, we were told there was a party going on in the function room below us (we were on the 3rd floor) which would last until late. They said they'd get the party to turn down the sound, but even after doing so, we could still hear it. A bit later a manager called us to say we could move to another room if we wanted to. No apology was offered and the manager's tone made it sound like we were inconveniencing him. We decided to move, so we had to get dressed, pack up all of our stuff, and schlep it up to the 9th floor with neither offer of help nor offer of a free night or even a free meal. Needless to say, that put us in a really bad mood, hence the low rating. Even so, we'd stay here again because of the beds and the convenience, though we'll certainly request a high floor next time.
