This Hampton Inn is old and worn, but the main problem is the price. For $149/night I would expect a premium experience - and this ain't it. The heater/AC was too loud for sleep and the shower faucet dripped all night. It's also very difficult/dangerous to enter and exit the driveway off a very busy MLK Blvd. If you're looking for a place to stay in Houma, keep looking. With so many choices I'm sure you can do better.

We stayed here overnight while visiting the southern Louisiana coast. The hotel is undergoing renovations and had a few workmen around when we checked in, but they were gone by 5pm.

The person on reception was fantastically helpful. We had problems with our room keys and after a few tries with dead batteries on the locks she upgraded us for free. She also gave some good advice for seafood restaurants and sight seeing.

i was in this hotel in Dec of 08 very nice place staff was great room very clean and the beds were so soft ,really a good value for the dollare .they even have a little something to eat in the evening beside breakfast in the morning free!!

I reserved three rooms for a friend and my daughters with a baby and a toddler. I myself went to the hotel to check them in the day of arrival because they were traveling and would get in town at about 11:p.m. exhausted,hungry,and sleepy. I put fruit baskets on the beds myself. They arrived to find there rooms were given away. They got in there rooms about an hour later. Service for one of my daughters were terrible. No towels or cleaning for 2 days. When asked for towels they were put outside door on floor. We travel alot and in the PAST we always choose Hampton Inn, not anymore.
