My husband stayed at this hotel on a sat. night. He checked in at 9 pm and out at 7 am due to the terrible state of the room and the rude and unproffesional staff. When he called me around 8:30 am to tell me how everything had been i was very upset. I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years, and this is truely a blackmark on the word
"hospitality". He was checked into a room, which was conveiniantly there last, that had no locks, wet paint, an empty whiskey bottle on the night stand, had not been cleaned, plus many more things, and the front desk attendent refused to give a discount. I called the hotel after hearing this and spoke with the same person whe had checked him in and out. I asked for a manager of some kind, she claimed to be the assistant mgr. I said she could help me. I told her what he told me and she started screaming at me. She told me she was sick and tired of "us" thinking we know every [---] thing and called me a [---] over and over. I asked if there were cameras at the desk and she said there were so i told her "then your manager will be able to see what all you are saying to me" and she said "be glad your not standing in front of me you [----]!" and hung up on me. I am going to do everything i can to get a full refund now. This is truely the worst experience i have ever heard of from a "Guest Services Attendent", as the front desk likes to be called.
