They have a great bar/restaurant in the lobby. The rooms are spacious and modern. The staff was friendly. I will stay again.

Nice hotel. How do you go green when there is no place to hang up towels? Need to put up towel racks.

I wasvery impressed by this hotel. Right in the middle of Baton Rouge and just minutes from LSU. Eateries are within walking distance and easy access to Interstate 12.
Rooms are very spacious and very clean. Halways smelled of pinesol ( which was nice). Beds were very comfortable and the pillows felt like heaven. The shower, which was one of my favorites was wonderful.
This is a must stay if in Baton Rouge.

The Holiday Inn Baton Rouge is a new hotel near the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. My only complaint is that it is difficult to get on and out on the street near the hotel due to traffic design. That said, there are four Hilton brand hotels around this hotel with the same problem. The rooms are nice, clean, and roomy. Large flat screen TVs in the rooms, with a spacious work area. Probably one of the nicest work out facilities I have seen in a hotel. Roomy with a great assortment of equipment. Pool is small. Restaurant food was tasty, although service was slow. The bar area and restaurant is considered a "Sports Bar" with multiple TVs on sports channels. I found the volume to loud; however, they allow you to take adult beverages to your room. They have a full breakfast menu for room service and a free breakfast in the restaurant with a nice selection of continental and hot food. Will definitely be back.
