Check in and check out were efficient and friendly. The breakfast was standard fair. The room was nice and comfortable. The pool was closed for the season, the hot tub was still open but it was so cool out we didn't want to use the outdoor hot tub. The elevator was broken when we were checking out so I had to make several trips to the car lugging everything down the stairs. Not fun. Would I stay here again...yes if the elevator is working.

We chose the hotel becasue of its proximity to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.The hotel sits back off the road so we drove past it the first time and turned around to find it. There are several restaurants in the area. When checked in we discovered the elevator was not working sio we had to carry luggage up to the second floor. The outdoor pool was closed for the season and the hot tub was outdoors so we chose not to try it. The room was confortable enough but not outstanding. Continental Breakfast was included but the selection was limited. One of the two waffle makers was broken. The staff was friendly and we had no major issues.

Property was a little more upscale than most and breakfast slightly better. Helpful front desk. No upgrade.

This hotel is a great choice if you're going to overnight in Somerset. It's clean and the rooms are "typical Hampton". Here's a tip: if you stay here and want a great place to go eat -- take a short drive (about 12-15 minutes or so from the hotel) north of town to Eddie Montgomery's Steakhouse. It's a teriffic place to eat and there's often some good music out there.
