We were very happy to book this hotel for the location and price. The check in staff were more than friendly when checking us in, but after we went to dinner and came back to the room, I pulled the sheets back to get in bed and found a bug!! I immediately got a tissue an killed it and of course you start to freak out by this point. I took to the front desk for proof and spoke with the receptionist who immediately called her manager. She was nice about the situation, I received a full refund, but we drove to lexington to stay at the hotel with my in-laws at 11:30 at night. Besides that the bed was like a rock, I am glad that I pulled the sheets back to look before we slept cleaned. I hate that I had to write this, but this is the honest truth!

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The pros - the hotel was clean, quiet, the staff friendly and the location was convenient. The cons - beds were extremely hard & lumpy, breakfast was not as good as other places I've stayed (ate at a nearby restaurant most mornings). I originally had a non-smoking room on the second floor but the hallway and room reeked of cigarette smoke. I asked to be moved and was immediately offered a non-smoking room on the first floor. Great improvement. Another complaint was when I tried to print my boarding pass using the computer/printer in the lobby, the computer kept kicking me out of the network. The clerk at the front desk said to reboot, which I did. It still didn't work and the only comment was that it did that a lot. I have stayed at other hotels where the staff have offered to print my boarding pass for me. Not too bad if you are only staying for a night or two but would definitely ask for a room on the first floor if you are a non smoker.

Everything about my experience at this hotel was terrible. I stayed 6 nights for business reasons and will never stay again. The mattress is like a rock. I had to call the desk after the 3rd night because the cleaning staff refused to replentish the soaps, cups or anything for that matter. I had no hot water several mornings and had one of the cleaning staff knock on the door at 9:00 in the morning then come right in to start cleaning as I was yelling that I was in the room. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!

We had an early flight on a Monday morning, so we traveled to Lexington the night before to get a good night's rest before catching the flight. This hotel had great beds and pillows. The staff was very accomodating. The room was clean. The breakfast in the morning was good... which most Best Westerns are. The location was good... lots of dining options and shopping.
