Nice hotel, but if you need wireless service during peak hours, choose a different hotel. Never had any issues with the Hampton Inn in Gtown

Friendly staff, comfy beds, awesome jacuzzi tub in room and great t.v. Had a really nice stay, got a late checkout with no hassel and room was just as nice as the pictures on the website.

This place came so well recommended and we were looking forward to an terrific horse show weekend with family. Arrived exhausted and waited to check-in for over 15 min. (appeared understaffed for a busy night) only to find that our reservation had been canceled by arriving after 6:00p.m. (condition not mentioned in confirmation e-mail received 24 hours prior) Hotel was full, so we were "allowed" to stay for the 1st night, but had to find other accommodations for the second. No assistance received from staff to help find another place. While waiting for our problem, witnessed an elderly gentleman inquire as to a luggage cart. He was told that some people don't return them from the floor. He inquired as to when it might be available and received no direct answer. Finally shook his head and stated that he would go look for one himself with no response from the desk staff.
Room was very clean and well-appointed, but we spent the night listening to snoring from an adjacent room, conversations from another and foot noise/shaking from above. Not a restful night. We had to drive 20 miles for a motel for the second night, but stayed at Hampton Inn and were treated wonderfully. Based on lack of service and thin walls, we won't be back again.

I typically only stay at 4 star and above but this hotel made the cut. It was very clean, the rooms were spacious with a great flat screen tv and the service was top notch. I will definitely stay again if in the Lexington area. The only downside is that the pool was a little small but overall a great hotel!
