My wife and I stayed here three nights and enjoyed it a lot. Interesting old house and eclectic B&B. Attentive, friendly hosts. Very clean and quiet. Georgetown, KY is an interesting little town with a real main street and is close to Lexington and the various horse tracks. The B&B is not far from Georgetown College. The B&B's street itself is a busy road. I would give the overall rating a 5 but for the following: (a) I would not rate the breakfast cooking highly, though I did eat the food; (b) we seemed to smell something like mothballs after our rooms had been cleaned, which the ceiling fan helped clear out; and (c) there were a few too many doilies around the place for my taste. Nothing that would keep me from coming back!

My wife and I just spent an overnight at the Pineapple Inn, as part of a short getaway. It is an older house with a variety of rooms. We stayed in the large suite with a queen sized bed and a hot tub in the bathroom. The inn is filled with antiques, and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast with the innkeepers Muriel and Les. Both were extremely friendly and hospitable, and we really enjoyed our stay. It is not the same as going to a chain hotel in the area, and we were both really glad that we decided to stay there.
