My first experience at this Hampton Inn was good some years back. This time was no different. A typical Hampton Inn, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and adequate for a good price. Other amenities were available, but I didn't use them. Carrying antique furniture in my truck bed, I worried about the safety of the items, but found the area adjacent to the common area well lit and unexposed. Breakfast was very good and the large windows facing east provided the nice backdrop of a magnificent sunrise to start the day. A good choice of restaurants were nearby, even within walking distance.

I arrived around 2:00 pm was greated by a very freindly staff i told them Id be leaving at midnight so I was given a good rate for this time of year (around $80.00)...ample parking for a semi beside hotel at closed down shoneys...cracker barrel within walking distance...standard Hampton room...clean,comfy,and quiet( ideal for a day sleeper)...Ideal location right off interstate ...

Standard Hampton Inn (at least in my experience): clean rooms, friendly staff, modern amenities, overall nice place. The location is good - not necessarily for any particular city (the closest big city, Cincinnati, is 30-45 mins north), but I stayed here for several nights and used it as a central jumping off point for Cincinnati, Louisville, Lexington and even as far north as Dayton. For all that, it is fairly centrally located. Bottom line: nice place; I would stay here again if I was in the area.

My husband and I were heading north to Cincinnati Ohio late one night. It began to storm and there was a huge traffic back up on the interstate ahead. We had stopped in Dry Ridge several times before to shop at a little outlet center many times. This time we decided to spend the night. Checked a few reviews of the local hotels and chose the Hampton and are glad we did. Nice courteous check in service even at 9:00pm. Walked into our room and the 'nose test' passed with flying colors. The room smelled clean and fresh. Then the inspection began. The room was clean and well maintained. The air conditioner worked better than good..brrrr. The bed was ok.. of course that all falls into the personal preferences... little too soft for me but nothing wrong with it. The next morning the Hampton offered a very nice breakfast. Ham, egg & cheese scramble, waffles, and the usual bagel, toast, cereals and fruit. Had a very nice stay and would stay there again.
