I stayed at the Best Western Carrolton while traveling through KY over the Thanksgiving break in 2011.
Check-in was brief and painless.
The room was clean and well-kept, although the carpet looked a little old and ruffled. The non-smoking (king sized bed) room was average-sized, with TV (I couldn’t access HBO even though it was listed on the program) and small fridge. The room was supposed to have free internet but I had difficulty accessing it. The bathroom was large with a shower/bathrub and very bright lights.
Breakfast was free (from 6am-10am) and buffet-style, including coffee/juice, choice of 3 cereals or oatmeal, muffins, bread (with butter or cream cheese), fruit (orange) and hot items: sausage patties, fried egg and biscuits.
The overnight stay was fine for me. My only gribe is the soundproofing could be better as I could hear the TV from next door.

Very nice front desk personnel and helpful. Had to change rooms because the first was a liitle ragged but the second room was nice, Stayed three days to visit people in Vevay Indiana so the location was great. Over it was decent experience. Breakfast was okay for inclusive but there is a Waffle House just across the parking lot.

Front desk personnel went out of their way to help make stay comfortable. Beds were great. No problems with room. Had a nice room on the first floor. Only drawback was the continental breakfast or lack there of. Not enough food 3 mornings in a row for everyone who came to eat. Food ran out early and was not replaced. Person taking care of breakfast area was the only unfriendly person. Several places to eat nearby, mostly fast food. Also local pizza place had great service and food even though later on Friday night.

watch out for the low table in lobby,bumped out knees.Stay on the second floor if you can climb the stairs as the first floor ceilings are to thin and can hear everything above you.Also stay on the back side of the hotel if you want total darkness to sleep.to many lights in the parking lot and curtins not hung up high enough to block out lights.The pool said it was heated yes, (by the sun), very cold last week in August. Housekeeping and front desk staff were the best. All the fast food places were within walking, if you should want to.
