We chose this hotel based on information in the travel brochure at the visitor center since it was located in the NE portion of town. The front desk staff was okay, no additional information was given unless prodded for it. The room was a mix-match of various furniture pieces placed at random in the room--a desk with no chair, a table with no chairs. I had to check the bed to make sure there were 2 pillows on each because their was one lump in the middle; turns out there was a second pillow on each bed they were completely flat and useless. The smoke detector needed a new battery as it intermittently beeped throughout the night. The room was at least clean. There was no clock in the room but there was a brand new TV in the room and a refrigerator. We did not shower there as the water was very brown. Breakfast - located at the EconoLodge next door - was abismal. They had cold cereal, bagels and english muffins. The milk was sour and when the front desk person was told about this they didn't fix the problem. Lastly when we tried to check out the front office was locked. We had to go to the EconoLodge to check out but they didn't have any record of us nor a receipt. What a disaster.

We went during the Stampede and had a heck of a time finding a room! The name..Regency seemed ok, but when we pulled up I was shocked, After checking in we followed the "map" to our room which was thru a very creepy cement hallway to the back.When we open the hallway the "backyard" area had beer bottles and an old broken down BBQ.Our room was right next to the hallway door.As soon as we opened the door we just couldnt believe it, mold stains on the ceiling by the AC, smelled of water damage, my Husband had to use the bathroom which I was afraid it even look at so while he did that I pulled back the comforter and on one pillow was the smear of someone's makeup, you could actually SEE the eyeshadow,liner,blush,
lipstick marks...but what was worse than that was the other pillow it had pubic hairs on it, we turned on our heels and RAN! Never Never NEver stay there...NEVER!

My wife and I stayed at this motel on august 17 2007 we had to get two rooms because the first one the ac didn't work. The motel is in poor condition. The second room we were in was very dirty the toilet had not been cleaned the bath tub had black stuff floating in it and would not drain the ac didn't work very well again and the smoke alarm was beeping had a dead battery and the the remote didn't work on the tv. we had two rooms and had to have maintnance come to our rooms on 3 occasions. We had a terrible experiance and ended up leaving around 11:00 pm I would never stay there again

The Regency appears to be just a second lobby for the adjacent EconoLodge, as they seem to share the indoor and outdoor pools between guests, as well as all staff.

Staff was not particularly friendly or available.

Rooms were old, and not very clean. Cigarette smoke from another guestroom was entering our non-smoking room through the bathroom vent, unfortunately.
