I booked and paid for this reservation on Hotwire. When I checked in, the clerk charged my card again. It took quite some time to delete the charge and I will definitely be checking my statement to make sure it wasn't charged. I had also called ahead and requested a room with two beds, but when she gave me my keys it turned out to be a room with a king bed. We were given another room on the second floor with two beds. The hallway needed vacuuming as well as our room. There were pieces of white stuff all over the floor in our room. I tried to log in to the wireless internet and could not so I tried to call down to the lobby to find out the access code. The phone did not work, so I had to walk all the way down there. It turned out that their wireless was trying to give me access using the wireless from the Hampton Inn next door. I told the clerk about the floor in our room and she said she'd leave a note for the owner. When we checked out the next morning, I intended to talk to the manager or owner, but there was no one at the front desk. If the floor would have been clean and better information provided about the wireless access, this would not have been a bad place to stay. As it was, the whole combination of events made for a very poor experience. And, I have never heard from the owner or manager.
