After checkin we went to the room. Later that afternoon we came back from the Hospital to go to sleep, we pulled the blanket back and on the pillow case was a huge "red" stain it looked like blood. I immediatly went to the office to complain. The desk clerk was very surprised and gave us another room. After checking out of the first room we went to the second room. Above the headboard was brown, gloppy stain and on the headboard, pulled back the sheets and on the blanket was a big brown nasty stain. Unbelievable- with no other choice but to stay, because all the hotels in the area were sold out we stayed. We stayed as long as possible until we started getting bit by fleas. We ended up leaving a few hours later and went back to the Hospital to sleep in the waiting room chairs. The next morning we went back to the Hotel to check out and complain. The manager was not in so we left our phone number for him. He called a few hours later and advised me that his "head" housekeeper had checked both rooms and could not find anything wrong with them. I told him otherwise, and I refused to pay for it. A half an hour later the Manager called back and said " I personally checked out both rooms and saw the stains on the piilow and the sheets, and on the wall" he also said "if it was him and his family he would not have stayed here either" Now if the Manager would not stay there, then why is this hotel so nasty! I have called the state health department to check into this matter. I hope noone has this kind of nasty experience like we have had. I thought Motel 6 had improved there image over the years...I guess I was wrong.
