I was disappointed with this Comfort Inn given the reviews. The rooms were cleaned, and the bed fairly comfortable, but you should be able to expect this from a Comfort Inn. My room had an odd smell to it, so I had to open the window AND have the AC on. The room was also really dark. It did have free wireless, which was a nice perk. The "fitness room" was just gross, one sad little bike and a sad little treadmill that shook upon use. The pool was a weird shade of mint green. The free breakfast didn't even include eggs (besides hard boiled ones), just sausage gravy, biscuits and waffles - no real healthy options. It's also nowhere near downtown. I *might stay here again, if I were just looking for a cheap room to crash in for a night or two. Business travelers, stay away!

We checked in on Friday evening with reservations. The woman working the front desk was really rude, and kept yelling at the maintence man and told us "you'll just have to wait a minute" before walking off to yell at him some more. We got up to our room to find that someone had turned the thermostat to low heat on a 90 degree day, so it was like walking into the pit of hell. When we complained about that it was mentioned we were the fourth room that day to complain about having their heater turned on. We went to adjust it ourselves and found that the knob to control hot and cold was broken. The maintence man did come up and fix that.

Later that evening we spoke with the male night clerk who was the only staff member who seemed helpful and friendly our entire stay. He was able to give us directions to a nearby laundry mat to wash my daughters uniform, and to the Legends mall.

The pros of staying at this motel were that it was close to the mall, and where we needed to be. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast offered a lot of choices.

My gripes about the stay, besides the broken air conditioning, and a majority of rude staff members would be: I was bit by a spider during my stay (the bite showed up Saturday morning and I had it checked out by a doctor upon returning home), the blow dryer in our room was broken, and I had called ahead to request a refridgerator for my mom's insulin (the website says they are available in some rooms). There was no fridge when we checked in (thank goodness we had brought coolers) and and the front desk lady told me they didn't have any at all and she wasn't sure why other staff kept saying they were available.

Great place to stay with children. Nice indoor pool close to rooms, quiet location, close the the Legends Mall, Great Wolfe Lodge, Speedway track and more, about a 5-10 min easy drive. Great breakfast with waffles, biscuits, juice, etc. Rooms are incredibly clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly. Price was incredible also.

The hotel has recently been updated with new carpet and furniture. I have stayed at this location a lot for work and the updates have made a big improvement with the rooms. The hotel doesn't have much directly next to it except for a BP gas station, however it is only minutes away from the Legends shops and restaurants.
