We often stay at Hampton Inns because we usually have good experiences with them. This Hampton Inn was good. Seems to be fairly new although my husband said he stayed here 8 years ago with his brother. Very convenient to all the attractions. Legends mall was very close. Restraunts were everywhere, all prices ranges. You can see the speedway and soccer stadium from the hotel. Very close to interstate 435. Our room was very clean when we arrived. And I have to say the whole hotel was very clean. The staff was VERY nice and helpful. The breakfast (which is one reason we always stay at Hampton) was great. Standard cold items. For the hot items, they offered waffels (of course) sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits and pre made omlets, which were actually pretty good! The breakfast room was very busy Sunday morning and there was a lady there working very hard to make sure they were not out of anything. The only negatives were that our bathtub did not drain well at all and by the end of our showers we were both standing in 3 inches of water. They also do not have a hot tub in with the pool area. This was an oversight on my part. My husband has some neck issues and always likes to sit in a hot tub when he has the chance. This hotel is exactly what I expected from Hampton Inn but there is a lot of competition in the area and they don't have a lot of bells and whistles to make them stand out, and make you want to choose it above others. Except for the fact, like us, you like to stay at Hampton. I may stay there again, however I may check out others too, especially if others have a nicer/bigger pool area.
