If you are expecting the usual Holiday Inn Express, you'll be in for a disappointment. The room was dusty, the elevator less than clean, the bathroom grout was missing in the floor so that the tiles rocked, and there were ants. The breakfast was standard. The desk personnel were task oriented but lacked friendliness and helpfulness.

Based on the most recent reviews, I was extremely nervous about the stay at this hotel. Thankfully, we had a positive experience. The room was clean and satisfactory. The clerk at checkin was new, but very friendly and sociable. (I was not impressed with the other party working with her. Found her to be unfriendly and not as helpful.) I was concerned at first when we were told they were running low on key cards. Luckily that first impression didn't set the tone of our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This is not what I remember being a typical Holiday Inn Express--It is in need of a redo and the staff was not helping to make it a good stay. When we checked in our room we were left with a few sheets of toilet paper and one kleenex. When I ask the desk clerk for some she asked me how many kleenex I needed while handing me an open box from under the counter! I said the whole box ! She did go and find a roll of toilet paper. There are not many hotels here and that may be why the quality is substandard.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. It all started when the check in clerk didn't know how to use the computer. The woman who checked us out didn't know much more about the use of a computer. My husband went to get ice and we found some hair in the ice bucket and no plastic bag. He went to the front desk and their answer was for them to rinse the bucket, spray it with disinfectant spray, and put in a garbage bag. We wanted a different and clean ice bucket. Needless to say, we skipped using ice. I was sitting on one bed and found some bugs, looked between the mattress and box spring, and decided we would sleep in the other bed. Also, found bugs this morning in the bathroom. When we checked out and mentioned to the desk clerk about the bugs and hair, she looked at us like "SO" and never said a word. Unless, you like sleeping on boards you won't like their hard beds. We have stayed at other HIE and have enjoyed them, but wouldn't want to stay here again.
