“Nice clean rooms for the budget conscious.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 May 2009

Not bad for a budget motel. This is an older motel but the rooms were clean and had been updated at some point. The room had a refrigerator & microwave. There was enough room to set up the pack and play for our baby to sleep in. The beds were a little uncomfortable as they are in most all motels/hotels. Double D's Restaurant attached to the motel has a great breakfast.

“Clean but Old and Overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 February 2009

For some reason hotels in south east Kansas just seem to thank they are worth an extraordinary large price. This is a very old run down hotel. It is clean and the rooms are comfortable; however, the shower and sinks have low pressure. The internet signal is weak and there are very few outlets not being used. Also the lighting is very poor. Would recommend only if staying one night and traveling otherwise hit the Super 8 across the street it is newer, cleaner and you don't have to leave the building to get breakfast.

“Best in town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 February 2007

Sure, it's an old-style "motor court", but the rooms have been remodeled and upgraded with desks and ergo chairs, micro & fridge, wi-fi and all the amenities. No free breakfast, just a discount at their place. Help was okay - desk clerk made me wait while she talked on phone. I didn't see it, but there's a pool, etc. too. Beats driving to Wichita if you have business here.

M y jod requires alot of travel, I recently stayed there in this motel. Istayed there about a week, and my wife sent me a very important package to me in the us mail. But becouse i did not inform the desk clerk, that i was expecting a package it was returned. they cost me $17 in shipping and did not even seem the least bit worried. So if you stay there and want mail wait till you get home.
