We arrived around 6pm on a Friday for our two night stay and found a nice quiet, clean hotel. This is actually the second time we have stayed here. On this stay we had reserved a suite with two queen beds and a pull out couch. The room was huge! It was also very clean. In the suite, we had a counter area near the door with a sink, microwave, fridge and small coffee maker. I'd suggest bringing a small bottle of dish soap if you'll be washing - we cleaned sippy cups each day. The hotel provides enough coffee to make two regular, and two decaf cups of coffee. In our experience, these were not refreshed during cleaning.
The room's desk area is large enough to eat at, and the wireless Internet worked great.
In the room you'll also get two small soaps, a tiny shampoo, tiny conditioner and tiny lotion. These were refreshed upon cleaning.
At 9pm we had an obnoxious group of high school wrestlers check in along with their cheerleaders. They were all on our floor, on the same wing. Over the top loud and doors slamming. At 9:30pm I told them to be quiet and at 10pm I had to go to the front desk. The front desk gal was sweet, offered to refund some money (which I didn't accept), but most of all took care of the problem. Not another high schooler yelling outside my door like a four year old. Good service. The following night was nice and quiet.
Each day the breakfast was filling and pretty extensive.
Great hotel option in Waterloo and will definately stay again.
