“Nice Gem place in the middle of IA!”

So riding thru IA on a motorcycle late on a Saturday afternoon, I was starting to worry I'd have to ride all the way to Waterloo to find a room somewhere..
When I come to a 4 way stop and see a welcome sight! Super 8!
The bldg looked well kept, went in to inquire about a room... lobby was nice, the young ladies behind the desk had their smiles on..
They gave me a king bed right at the top of the stairs..
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet!
There's a pool and a hot tub, a outdoor sitting area..
Within walking distance is a couple of places to eat..
the breakfast was decent.. no waffles... but eggs, sausage, toast, cereals.. no complaints..

Room Tip: smile! a smile will get you more than a frown!

“Worst Hotel Ever!”

I would never stay here again. We had 3 rooms. In one of the rooms one of the beds had a big liquid spill on it. Not sure what th eliquid was but it was wet. When we told the front desk they said well you only need one of the beds anyways. The staff was rude, the non smoking rooms smelled like smoke and the room was in dis-repair. There are much better optons in Toledo.

We are sorry that the guests' experience didn't meet their expectations. At Super 8 my team and I make it a point to exceed our guests expectations. If there ever is an issue my team and I work very hard to go above and beyond to make sure that we accomodate the guest. We tried to accomodate the guest by moving them to different room, but that wasn't to their satisfaction. Again, we strieve really hard to make our guests feel as if they are at home. We offer exceptional customer service to all of our guests. We appreciate the feedback as it helps us better ourselves in great Customer Service. Thank you for staying with us.

“A Good Place to Spend the Night”

This hotel was quiet, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were both a refrigerator and microwave in the room. While there was a breakfast available, it was nothing to get excited about. There were hot eggs and sausage (but no ketchup for the sausages). The only fresh fruit were apples. A little more variety would have been nice. The waffles were the kind you put in the toaster. While the breakfast was only so-so, it was a good place to sleep.
