I have stayed at this hotel with the wife on several occasions visiting the Omaha area. This is right across the river from Omaha and is much cheaper than anything you'll find across the river. It's right off the interstate and is very easy to get to, just go around Bass Pro Shops. VERY clean and spacious rooms. I have only had one problem here. One night during some high school sport playoffs, a bunch of people were in the lobby, being loud, at 2 AM, and the night clerk didn't do anything to quiet them down. It took us calling the desk to do that. We got rooms on upper floors after than and haven't had a problem.

If you suddenly find yourself looking for a good hotel room in Council Bluffs, this might be one of the few good choices. There are some real dogs in this town so be weary. Springhill Suites is much better than any other hotel I've stayed at here in Council Bluffs. Rooms are very nice and roomy with great beds and linens and very clean! Pool area was clean as well and my kids had a blast there. Very close to Outdoor World and Bass Pro Shop. Lots of dining options nearby and rooms were quiet even though we were near the interstate. Breakfast options were good as well and staff was very helpful. A great place to stay while in Council Bluffs.

Stayed at this location off and on for over a month and half while in town for business. The rooms are good with enough space to stretch out and do a workout DVD. Everything was very clean in the room. The bed is ok. Not the best that Marriott has to offer but on the firm side if you like those kind of beds.

The staff were very polite and the morning breakfast was pretty decent considering that it comes with the room rate. During the week there is eggs, mini-omelletes, sausage, canadian turkey bacon, and biscuits. On the weekend it is just eggs and turkey bacon. There is a waffle maker that is okay and the oatmeal is pretty tasty. Nothing over the top, but can get you going first thing in the morning.

The gym is small and basic and the pool is small but it is always crowded and people seem to really love the hot tub. There is not a whole lot to do in the area but you can find some eating establishments.

The wifi is pretty good for a hotel! Can get a lot of work done. Overall, this is a very good place to stay in and I will be staying here again when I go back to town for business.

Just back from a stay here. They have a very good location as jumping off point for visiting the Council Bluffs area and the casinos. Hotel has a very good breakfast and a very comfortable feel. Rooms are a good size and kept clean and neat. I would definitely recommend this property for a stay anytime.
