The manager is great! I have stayed here many times and he always remembers my name!

I was at the motel 60 with my family thanksgiving weekend in 2007. I had multiple problems with the fridge, freezing my baby formula, then spoiling it, because it kept shuting down, finally after the 3rd attempt I demanded them to change out the fridge, they finally did, and did not offer to reimbuse me the $15 in lost baby formula. The room was over the stair way so we heard everyone walking up and down the stairs all day and night. the room looked really really dirty, where we did not sleep with there blankets or sheets. Thank god we brought our own for the car ride. So not only was the room gross, the fridge faulty (which I know is not there fault, but they should have belived me and switched it out right away, instead of just plugging it into a different outlet), but the couch had a hudge hole in it.. I must say the only, and I mean only good thing about this hotel was the pool for the kids.. as far as the free breakfast, it is stale donuts and bagels, whith juice and coffee.. I would only stay here if the super 8 was booked up, seeing as I only have two choices in centerville!!!

I do want to add I know there are no 5 star hotels in centerville, I do expect them to be a little run down and not the best hotels, but when you are looking at there website states "Motel 60 & Villa is the largest and newest motel in southern Iowa".. I thought it would be newer looking and a little nicer then super8. but I have stayed at both motel 60 and super8, and super8 by far exceeds my expetiation for little old centerville. I was very dissapointed in my stay, this was the 1st time in years I did not enjoy my vacation..

This place is my Home away from Home when I come down here for Business! They know my voice when I call, they know my name, they just Pencil me in & I alway's get a discount. Quick & simple, just the way I like it!
