We chanced a visit to this quite surprising find. The owner gave us a "grand historic tour" and choice of rooms upon our arrival. The grandeur of each room with private bath and some with fireplaces plus the art gallery and dining room inside would be a great retreat for most anyone or group. Because it was just the two of us and we were staying 3 nights we chose the Van Gogh because of its closet and extra bed. And the owner offered us our choice of deluxe continental breakfast or an all-you-can-eat hot breakfast in the adjoining restaurant.
