First I want to say that for $33 a night I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but when we arrived, I was amazed at how terrible the room was. The first problem was that we didn't get the room that was booked. Instead of a room with one queen bed, it had 2 double beds. The odor immediately hit you when walking in. It just smelled soiled. Next problem was hair that seemed to be on everything, the walls, beds, shower and floor. The beds had fresh white sheets, but the heavy blankets on top hadn't been clean in quite sometime. On the second night I asked the woman at the front desk when was the last time that they were washed, and she couldn't even tell me. She only offered fresh blankets for me to put on myself. The TV and remote only worked part of the time, and there were only 2 channels that came in remotely clear. When I went to shower, I noticed there wasn't any shampoo so I asked a different woman at the front desk if they had any. She simply said no and that I could go to the dollar general store to pick some up. The cherry on top would be the bed bug that I saw scamper across the pillow. I was checking the other bed in the room when this little critter ran off of the pillow into the depths of the bed. Needless to say the last night's sleep wasn't very good. I would recommend sleeping in your car rather than this place, unless you like hair and bugs.
