First of all I do not expect luxury when I stay at a Motel 6. But I do expect a clean room and a friendly welcome. Well the welcome was friendly but that was the high point of this stay. We have two small children and requested a ground floor room. We were placed on the third floor. We open the door and there was a strange smell in the room. I called the front desk and they advised all of the rooms have that smell. The carpets were filthy to say the least. Our white socks were black on the bottom when we left. The TV remote did not work and the beds were not comfortable at all. The pillows were literally almost flat. I would never stay here again even if it were free. They also charge $2.99 for internet service and we only had one bar of service.

I read these reviews after I reserved my room... and got worried.

Don't be. It's a normal Motel 6; clean, simple and efficient. Front desk people were nice and accommodating. Nothing fancy, but nothing here to be scared of. Well lit, no loiterers. My room was clean and waiting for me.

I was quite satisfied. It's not a luxury resort, but who expects that from a Motel 6? For the price, you can't beat it.

I wouldn't recommend this motel to my WORST enemy!! We booked our room a month in advance and it took them at least 30 minutes to check us in, our reservations were entered in system incorrectly. As soon as I opened the door to our room I wanted to leave. Once inside I found dirty socks from previous occupants and other garbage under bed, pubic hairs IN the bed and shower. There was a one inch gap around entire door frame so passer by"s could see in our room. Last , but not least, when I got up around 3:00 am to use the restroom and turned the lights on, I saw numerous roaches scattering about. In my opinion this particular Motel 6 should be condemed.

I live close in town and had noticed the price on sign before, so this weekend when I needed a room, I decided to call. The total price was under fourty dollars, which was great. Other hotels close by are at least sixty and up. Being the semi-germ freak that I am, I asked for an extra sheet and two pillowcases. The attendant said that she was sorry, but couldn't. She didn't tell me why, and automatically I was disgusted.

Next, I was put on the third floor, but luckily there was an elevator. When I walked into the room, it didn't have a bad odor, but was extremely WARM. I went straight to the thermostat to see that it was outdated, and was already on HI and Cool. It was close to 11pm, and I didn't feel like lugging my bags all the way back downstairs, and perhaps not getting a room as clean. I thought that maybe once i got settled, i would cool off. I had sanitizer with me, so I wiped down the remote control, bedside table and dresser.

The restroom hadn't been stocked with the correct amount of linen, nor had it been cleaned. I immediately noticed a dirty washcloth folded into a "decorative" square with a pack of soap on it. This did not make me comfortable. With an exception, the restroom did look as though it had been updated in the last few years. Bed was ok, but I wouldn't use those covers, sleep on top of sheet only.

Would I stay here again? If my stay was 12 hours or less, yes.
What would I suggest one bring? Slippers or flip flops to wear in shower, own soap, sanitizer or disinfectant, pillowcases, sheets.

*would have been completely worth it for twenty five dollars.
