I took my son on Jan. 3rd for his 9th birthday. We arrived around 6 thinking we had till 9 and all day the next day. The water park closed early at 7PM because of low attendance. That is NOT right!! PLUS the regular pool was closed by the health department...... That is what the orange sign on the gate said. The web sight said the water park closed at 9 pm. So my son missed out on his birthday and the water park did not do what it advertised. Call the front desk before arriving to find out what time the water park closes because they close when ever they feel like it.
ONE LAST BEEF. The phone in the room did not work. :( needs a good makeover!!!

We went to Caribbean Cove this past weekend, the water park was nice and the kids enjoyed it, the only problem I saw was that lieguards were texting while they should have been watching the water and the guests, I do not think they should be allowed to have cell phones while working. The other issue that I had was in the Cafe, not only were they very slow, but we had people sitting behind us who were very rude and kept spitting beer through a straw onto everything, the kids were almost done eating when I finally got my food, then had a beer shower, thanks to the annoying guest in the next booth. I did not get what I ordered, but for fear it taking another 1 hour, I ate it the way it was brought, the kids had just ordered refills on their drinks when we get our "beer shower" so they were wasted along with their food that was also in the shower range. You could not see out the windows in the room, not enough towels and kids that run the halls all hours of the night. I hope people that are here for the Super Bowl have a much better experience!

My family and I decided to visit the Caribbean Cove for an overnight stay. I booked a room through the front desk and when I arrived the front desk gave me a room next to the entrance near the park. No wireless as advertised, no sofa as booked, and not a quiet comfortable stay at all. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything outside the room and above you. The room was quite outdated for the price no working phone and an old hazy cathode TV and everything seemed dirty and infested. I would recommend not staying in the hotel if coming for the waterpark. The waterpark is great for the kids and situated to allow a parent to conveniently observe all the action but over rated.... Not a place to visit or revisit. Save your money.

My family just visited this facility this past weekend and to say the least, it was not worth our hard-earned money. The room we stayed in had a broken headboard, a remote that didn't function, and dirty crumpled up sheets for the pull-out sofa bed. The water park, although my kids had fun, wasn't appealing to the eye because of huge rust stains that could be spotted all over, it sort of gave it a "dirty" look; one of the hot tubs was completely cold, and appeared to not be functional, several of the "toys" in the kiddie area were broken and/or missing, the arcade also had machines not functioning and the ticket counter was out-of-order!! We left there thinking it definitely wasn't worth the money.
