I used loyalty points for this stay, and booking was really easy (LaQuinta has a great loyalty program)! The desk staff was friendly and efficient. We were informed that the heater in the pool was broken, which was a huge disappointment for our daughter (she still braved the pool).

The room was spacious (King suite) with ammenities (gas log fireplace, frig, two TVs, jacuzzi tub). The bathroom was very clean - but the jacuzzi tub was filthy (no plans to use it anyway). The SMELL of the room was not great - not exactly stale smoke, but not fresh either. I was afraid that we had been placed in a smoking room, but what I discovered is that the staff smoke break area seemed to be right outside our room. It also seemed the ENTIRE staff smoked! At one point, eight smokers were in the area. So, those with sensitive noses might request to be placed far from that area.

The hotel is in a strip mall, which was unexpected (and made it a bit harder to immediately see on arrival), but meant that there were plenty of eating options to walk to. It is conventient to the interstate.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights while in town to attend a memorial service. Booking was easy and a late check-in was guaranteed. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Management was accommodating in helping us set up for a gathering in their conference room, supplying coffee, ice, and cold water.

We stayed in a king nonsmoking room. It was comfortable, quiet, and clean. We were able to control the room temperature to our liking. There was a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Our only complaint was that on our last night we got only one fresh towel, wash cloth, and
hand towel, and we ran out of tissues.

The hotel provided a good breakfast each morning with waffles, pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc in a nice open area.

We didn't use the pool, but saw that it and the whirlpool were large and looked inviting.

After reading other reviews we were a bit concerned with the parking situation, but we had no problem finding a safe spot close to the hotel, even when returning relatively late in the evening.

We would happily stay at this hotel again.

Based on some of the reviews about this hotel, I was unsure about it but it proved to be much better than we expected. Concerns were that this was really a 2.5 star hotel, even though Hotwire lists it as a 3*, that the hotel has smoking rooms, and after it was booked I found the Hotwire price not that great as I could have had about the same rate ($10 more) via AAA rate, but hey, $10 is $10.
Anyway, It is probably a 2.5* hotel, but it was fine for our purposes, a clean place to spend the night. We requested a non-smoking room and there was absolutely no odor in the room; it was very clean and very quiet. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. And we did find that night the rooms were going for about $40 more than what we paid so felt better about the price also. The hotel is convenient to the highway. No problems with this hotel at all, would stay here again if our travels bring us this way.

Stayed here for 1 night in July while in town for work. Got this on Hotwire which has it listed at 3 stars, which is LAUGHABLE. Room smelled musty and like smoke, even though was a "non smoking" room. But since they have the two room types right next to each other I was not suprised. Air conditioner broke 3 times and it was 94 outside. Repairman was helpful in attempting to fix it, but ended up taking a motherboard from a different room, thus rendering that room useless. Cable stunk as you have 12 channels. Typical prepackaged continental breakfast. And parking is comical too. You park in a run down stripmall parking lot. Do not stay here and Hotwire should be ashamed to have this as a 3 star!
