We stayed in 5 Best Westerns this trip this was the only PLUS and the worst of the all.
Check in and out was easy. The room was tidy but not clean, the level of dust was not accumulated in one day/week. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good,Towels were grey The breakfast was pretty grim ( the worst we had on our trip)

This motel is just off of Highway 64 in southern Indiana. We were staying there for an event at the nearby Lincoln Parks (which are beautiful & educational, btw) and our choices for this area were slim to none. I am sure that this hotel gets a lot more guests during the Holiday World season, but we stayed on a cold, rainy late September weekend so there weren't many other guests.
The hotel is clean, quiet and offered the usual, but satisfactory complimentary breakfast.
Comfortable rooms, comfortable beds. The sink area is just inside the door and not enclosed in the bathroom area which may be an issue for some people, but didn't bother us.
The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
There is a Denny's, some type of fast food (Wendy's?) and a gas station close by.

We chose this hotel based on Holiday World's Link to this hotel. The pictures looked nice and the price was right. Boy were we wrong. This hotel was so dirty. The carpet was badly stained. The elevators hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. There were cigarette butts and dead bugs in the windows of the stairway. The tile near the ice/concession area was stained. The room was ok...the air conditioner was so loud though. It really kept me up all night. Will NOT be staying there again.

We stayed in this place 2 weeks ago because we were going to Holiday World and the Holiday Inn in Jasper where we usually stay was booked. Boy, did we get taken! The picture on the BW website makes it look like a new hotel. It's not--they "remodeled" an old one. The hallway smelled like an old dirty sock, the carpet in the elevator and hallway was nasty. There was no air conditioning in the elevator or hallway. The room was fairly clean, except for the food crumbs I found on the floor and the long black hairs in the shower stall. Breakfast ok-Wendys and Dennys right next to it, but it was wayyy overpriced for this area! There was no where to put luggage because the "closet" was smaller than the luggage rack, so it would not unfold. Beds and pillows fine. If we go back to Holiday World, will make sure the other place is available.
