We were travelling and needed to stop to break up our trip. The rates at this hotel were very affordable, the quality of the room was top notch. We opted for the suite since it was only $9 more for the night. It was freshly redecorated, very spacious and most importantly, very clean. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful, made us feel right at home. The hotel even supplied us with a crib for the baby to sleep in, another nice touch. We were also pleasantly surprised in the morning with the breakfast, in addition to the typical continental breakfast they have hot fresh waffles, a very nice touch for the money. I would highly recommend this hotel, the quality surpasses some 3 star hotels I have stayed at.

Cheap hotel. Charges $10 for pets. Rooms/Breakfast are average. No complaints.

We stayed here for the Tour de Donut in Staunton. This motel is more like 2 or 3 stars (as opposed to the one star on this website). It was clean, and staff was friendly. Carpet could be updated, otherwise was happy with the stay. Really can't ask for too much more when paying $50/night.

There's a Dairy Queen next door (we didn't go in)

We stayed here one night en route from southwestern Missouri to Wisconsin; Staunton is a good mid-point for our drive. The hotel is in view of the interstate but not right beside it, so it was quiet. The proprietors were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. I lost a small necklace somewhere on the premisis and was pleasantly surprised when they had it at the front desk when I inquired in the morning. Decent continental breakfast included. We will stay here again as it's a trip we make a couple of times each year.
