We stayed here for the US Open Brass Band Championships which were being held at the Noris Performing Arts Center. This hotel is near lots of restuarants, a grocery store and shopping. It was only about 35-40 minutes from downtown Chicago too!
The staff was very friendly, even searching out a bottle of mouthwash for my fiance. The lobby was cute with a fireplace and comfy couches and chairs, the room was clean and the complimentary hot breakfast was AMAZING! And the free cookies at the front desk are a nice touch. Overall a great value!

Called hotel for directions and they had no clue. Went to use both of the key cards and they were not programmed. Probably by the same person that could not give directions. We went for breakfast at 9:00 am only to find the doors closed and a meeting going on. Breakfast is supposed to be until 9:30. The dim wit at the front desk said we could go in but we had to be quiet. Seriously! We ended up checking out and went elsewhere.
What a joke!

Had to make a trip to Saint Charles for a conference stayed at the Country Inn and Suites. The staff was wonderful during check in and very Friendly. Management and staff was quick and friendly to answer any questions I had. The room was very clean and the bed is one of the best I have had. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone I know.

This hotel chain needs to review the rate it charges. The $95 rate is way too high for the level of quality it provides. The check-in was smooth with a friendly desk clerk. When I got to the room I was immediately disappointed. The furnishings were dated & cheap. The TV was the old conventional type & the reception was bad. The air condtioning unit was confusing. I put it on auto cool & it would shut off before the room was comfortable. I was constantly getting up throughout the night to adjust it. Needless to say I was not happy. The bed was OK - nothing to write home about. Bottom line this room was no better than at a Super 8 but they were charging me like it was a Hampton - it was not!
After all that happened we did not stay for the breakfast. I just wanted to get out of there & go to breakfast at a restaurant. I've traveled extensively & I've paid $95 for a room at a Hampton, Wyndam & at Spring Hill Suites. The quality of the rooms & overall the entire hotels were so much better than at Country Inn & Suites. My advice is find a room at the Hampton Inn. The quality & value is much higher.
