My Family and I recently stayed at this hotel. The children were excited about getting in the pool. Once we got there, we found out that the hot tub was out of order, the pool had not been cleaned according to the receptionist in about 3yrs, and the hallways smelled like mildew. We then noticed that the locks to our room did not lock. The receptions told us oops we thought we fixed that and moved us to another room. They claimed they lost my check I had sent months earlier, only to cash it six months later. The manager can never be reached. The whole experience was just terrible. If you want to enjoy yourself don't stay here. You do better sleeping in your car.

We chose this location because of the pool and hot tub that was pictured on the web site. Immediately after checking in we discovered that the hot tub had no water and the pool was very cold. We immediately asked the desk clerk if we could check out so that we could stay in a hotel with a pool/hot tub. She ASSURED us that we would NOT be charged for this room. The next day I found out that we WERE charged for it! I notified the manager and he REFUSED to remove the charge from my credit card!!!! He was extremely rude and impossible to deal with!! TRAVELERS BEWARE!!!

Looks a little rugged on the outside but the rooms are clean, equipped and beds are very comfortable. Close to downtown, restaurants and shopping. A nice pool and exercise room. The jacuzzi was out of order.

My son and I were in town for a weekend of train watching and the railroad park. The pool was ok
But there was a urine spot on the matress that was still wet. They did change our room. Not sure if the removed the matress. And at night the fire alarm went off and the staff did not seem all to concerned.
