We needed to find a hotel to stay the night. Find this one right off the I-55. It's a great location because it's right next to the highway and across the street from the Westfield Mall and many restaurants. There are two other hotels next to it (Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn).

The staff was very courteous and had print-outs of Mapquest directions to places like Harrah's and Walgreens. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy.

The only thing I didn't like about the room was the fact that I found a bug (a cricket) in the room. Yuck.

We were in town for a family event and,unfortunately, one person in our party fell ill the morning we were checking out of one hotel and checking in to the Fairfield Inn North. The staff was more than helpful, getting us into a clean and comfy room early and in less than five minutes.

The staff also quickly responded to our request for a rollaway bed so as to not disturb our sleeping patient who had fallen asleep across both sides of the queen bed. This Fairfield is tucked into a residential neighborhood and provided a quiet spot for our family member to recover (who did so after a few hours of sleep on the newly introduced bedding that Marriott is advertising). We had stayed at this location several years ago, and our room had obviously been redecorated since then. It was very fresh and clean with 2 queen sized beds.

Our children enjoyed the small pool and we all found the breakfast buffet to be more than adequate for a hotel at this price point.

We plan on traveling to Joliet in the future and plan on booking this location for future stays. It is definitely one of Marriott's quality Fairfield Inns.

Traveling on business, we kind of hit-and-ran here; got in late, left early. But the room was clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in the morning (a Saturday morning) on the second floor. Wireless internet was excellent and painless, once I realized where to find the password. Easy check-in and check-out. Would return if the price was right.
