This hotel certainly has the best of upgrades and I sure wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it is. The contemporary styling had me when I walked through the door. I love the wood (look) floors. I was surprised to see the flat screen TV as welll. The king size bed made me feel like a queen. I even got a good niight's sleep. Serve a good continental breakfast and I could make the score a 10!

My husband and I and our child check into this motel to sleep for a few hours in the parking lot we were greated by a white male offering us drugs my husband had to tell him to get the hell away from us. The room was dirty and the sink and toliet were dirty as well. But we said you know it's already late and we were tired so at around 3am we were awoke by loud noises. yelling screaming banging on doors. This went on for ten minutes we got up and looked out the window and there were people fighting women in their underwear etc. we asked for our money to be returned and we left upon leaving in such a hurry my husband left his shorts in the bathroom we called and asked them to put the shorts up and they said sure they will be at the front desk, well what do you know when we got there to pick them up the were not there and they can not find them. We wanted which employee would take someones dirty shorts out of the bathroom and use them Just Nasty.

I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past, as I travel frequently for my job. I had not been here in two years, so when I came back, I expected it to be the same. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much it has improved. The rooms had been remodeled, and feel much cleaner than before. The rooms are still small, but I don't expect spacious rooms in a budget hotel. The tvs are larger screen than other hotels I stay in, and they allow for a portable dvd player to be plugged into them. Every other hotal I have been at disables the plug-ins so that if you want to watch a movie, you need to order a pay-per-view. As a frequent traveller, I appreciate that I can bring along my portable dvd player, and watch movies without having to pay for a pay-per-view. The staff has been outstanding. In the past, while quite friendly, the staff were not as professional. A few years ago, I even caught one staff member having sex with the security guard late at night. There used to be non-stop parties here, and the pot smell would be so heavy in the hallways at night that you would feel like you were getting stoned just walking down the hall. I would hold my breath on the way to my room. The difference between how it was then, and how it is now is 180 degrees. Like any hotel, sometimes people have parties on the weekends, but they keep it in check. When there is a problem, it is quickly resolved. It now feels like the sort of hotel that you could bring your family on vacation without fear of your children seeing things that they shouldn't, or without feeling unsafe. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

I would recommed this hotel to anyone. It is located next to the mall and any type of food. The staff was friendly and the hotel was quite. I stayed here once before the remodel and I can honestly say that I will be returning. the room includes toiletries, white sinks and oversized shower, wood floors( you can walk barefoot), and a 32" plasma. For just $47.00 above and beyond what I expected!
