...Just your average hotel in every way. Location is it's best feature - close to downtown and easy access to the EL. Not impressed with the front desk service as we encountered the usual difficulties with BW archaic rewards system 'benefits'. (We could speak volumes on that topic!!) In addition, we requested a taxi to the airport upon our departure but were met by some random fellow with a van who charged more than the advertised rate around town. Be sure to make your own taxi arrangements!

Clean room, fairly comfortable bed. Bathroom was small and on the gross side, tiles popping off, dirty grout. Overall hotel needs updated, feels a little like an old nursing home. Location was good, although if you're a light sleeper constant noise from el could keep you up. Fitness room adequate at best.

Nice older hotel, inexpensive and parking right next to it. Restaurant/bar across the street if desired. Close to downtown Evanston. Complementary breakfast.

Stayed over Thanksgiving Holidays and found the accommodations to be clean and average decor and space for 2 queen beds. They did not have a king available for our entire stay. Heidi at the front desk was a delight and helpful.
The main drawback was the noise of the subway system that took several days to grow accustomed to. We had our car and thus didn't use the mass transportation but it was close to catch if you needed it.
