The first thing you see is the awesome lobby decor and fresh fruit to snack on. The hotel has a warm colored ambience and an open airy feeling to the indoor room access. The indoor elevator takes you to your warm cozy and clean room.
The breakfast is cooked to order with anything and everything you could want.
I accidently left a battery charger behind, and they shipped it to me promptly. You couldn't ask for better service. Would definetely stay here again !

The Embassy Suites in Peoria was a wonderful place to stay Christmas night and the next night. The manager's reception was excellent and they serve a fantastic made-to-order breakfast buffet in the mornings. We were fortunate to have an executive king suite which had a wall of windows facing the river- great view and lots of extra space. Others suites in this hotel can be a bit small- so getting the executive room is the way to go!

The Embassy Suites is always one of my faves to stay at. There's always some echoing noise from the atrium layout, but never before have I heard noise from the other rooms until this particular Embassy Suites. It was very irritating hearing (I presume) kids running above me. I almost called the front desk to complain when it got relatively late. The TV channel selection is pitiful, so I ended up watching videos on my iPad. However, I had to sign in almost every single time I wanted to use the Internet - super annoying. Be aware of the nearby train track, so sleep with some kind of noise machine because trains go by frequently at all hours. Good points to this hotel: great view of the river if you happen to be on that side, wonderful/delicious breakfast, friendly staff and comfy bed.

The Peoria Embassy is a John Q. Hammons property and like all of their properties is spotless and provides impeccable service. The hotel is ideally located along the river across from Peoria and the night time river view from many of the rooms is outstanding. Breakfast and the managers reception is excellent and no matter how crowded they keep the lines moving very well. The adjacent Steak and Shake is open all night which is a great convenience for those who are there for events keeping them out late. The shuttle service is prompt and courteous. The only possible complaint could be that the hotel is a very popular event location and can be very loud when one is occuring. However, the rooms do a fairly good job insulating you from the atrium noise.
