This is a mid-century building that has been updated very well. The rooms are all the same, sleeping 4 comfortably, MAX. The kitchenette is nice.
The lobby area was great for our group and we used it a lot for gathering. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, getting us ice for our cooler.
The breakfast here is actually very good, and included in the price! The location is right off Michigan Avenue's north end. Awesome place, especially for the price!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The free breakfast included a range of choices like eggs, waffles, toast, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and yogurt. This hotel is conveniently located around the Magnificent Mile, just a block away from the John Hancock Center. I have nothing at all negative to stay and would definitely stay there again the next time I visit Chicago.

Me and 3 of my girlfriends stayed at the Residence this past weekend for a mini weekend get away. The staff was wonderful, they accomodated all my needs. The rooms were nice. They had a full kitchen and comfortable beds. The hotel was very busy when we were there and we still had no problem getting into our room quickly and getting through the buffett breakfast line in a timely manner. The location of this hotel is awesome and at a great price. Thanks!
