Ray's was a delightful, quirky surprise. Good location, friendly host/owner, comfortable room, and a fabulous breakfast that begins with an "appetizer board" and continues with made-to-order entrees selected from a two-page menu that awaits guests at the expansive kitchen table. I wish we'd had more time to wander the house and study Ray's eclectic collections, beautifully displayed and ranging from colorful ceramics in the kitchen to a humorous array of Pez candy dispensers.
We found street parking just in front of the B&B and took a cab to our dinner destination a few miles away. (No problem with overnight parking if you follow commonsense rules about not leaving items on view in your vehicle.) Before leaving the next morning, we spent an hour walking around the nearby business district, filled with cute shops and restaurants. Will definitely put Ray's on our "must go back" list!
