We loved every second of our New Year's Eve getaway from the moment we arrived until we had to fly home. Service was impeccable and the suite was everything we could've asked for and then some. Enjoyed a massage to start off the new year right and I loved the relaxation room in the spa - the beds are so comfortable that I almost fell asleep. The staff went out of their way and accommodated our friends with a toddler and provided a crib complete with stuffed animal to make the little one happy!
The hotel was kind enough to send us chocolates and fruit as a small holiday gift which was a nice touch and we did enjoy them along with some champagne. I miss the plush robes, the mood lighting and the tub in the executive suite...I would most definitely stay again when I return to Chicago, in fact I can't wait to go back!

Outstanding service, great rooms, good/great food choices and perfect location are all contained at Peninsula. Group dinner for 30 was as well done as any I have attended. Service levels were unquestionable at the top. Rooms were well designed and with all the necessary features. Mini bar was well stocked with a broad selection of items. Overall an excellent experience.

And The Peninsula never ceases to amaze me. It is one of the very few places where you can stay and be assured that your entire experience will be PERFECT. Frankly, when paying the rates at a 5 star hotel like this, one should have perfection. You will.

I have stayed at many of the other 5 star hotels in Chicago, and none can compare to the Pen.

I took my daughter and some friends here for her birthday. The staff was incredible from the moment we checked in making sure that she felt special for her birthday weekend. This hotel knows what it means to "go the extra mile" when it comes to service! The suite was fantastic! We will absolutely stay here when we return to Chicago.
