This is my first stay at this chain and the last! I will NEVER go to any location again! We found BED BUGS on our clothing in the morning! They were in our bags that were sitting on the FLOOR and the COUCH! We always bring our own bedding so the bed was clean as far as we know! Also I was trapped in the BATHROOM for more than five minutes because the doorknob was stuck in the latch! Good thing I was not staying there alone! I would have had no way of getting out! I had no cell phone to call out! Luckily my husband came back into the room! The room we asked for was supposed to be NON-SMOKING it was not! Well it was for us anyway! We were told it was NON-SMOKING but when we got into the room it WREAKED of SMOKE! There were cigarette BURNS on the fridge, microwave, sink counter, the bathroom and the tub was even burned inside also the bed end table! NON-SMOKING you say, I say BS! That has to be a VIOLATION OF ILLINOIS STATE SMOKING LAWS!!!! I can say more but I am sure I gave you enough to make a decision! DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS!!!

bugs, broken door jambs, cigarette burns in blankets, really worried about the safety on the property and refused to eat the hotel breakfast after we saw how the hotel was maintained. gross, gross, gross, won't stay again no matter what!!!

There are drug dealers living on this property. I have been traveling for 2 weeks and this is by far the nastiest, most dangerous hotel. I think they have bedbugs as well!!!!! Do not stay!!!! I only paid $56, but I wished I stayed in Super 8 in Anna.

This hotel is in a bad area of Carbondale and they allow families to live in the hotel. (two adults and three children in one room) When we arrived, it was quiet and no one in the parking lot. The room wasn't great, but we thought it would be OK for a night. Noticed our phone didn't work so we asked the manager who stated they were having problems with their phone lines. About an hour later, there was fighting in the parking lot just outside our door. Terrible language and screaming went on for hours. We had no way to call the front desk.... didn't feel safe and was concerned about having our car in the lot. We left. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! A TRUE FOREIGN OWNED DUMP!!!!!
