As a frequent (Diamond VIP Hilton Honors member) Hilton guest, I was disappointed when I stayed one night at the Bradley/Kankakee Hampton Inn. Always liked Hamptons, usually a generically good hotel. But this one is not their best. Looking awfully shop-worn, one ice maker and it didn't work. Small breakfast area with a LOT of guests made it not worth it, I'll go pay somewhere for breakfast with a bit of privacy. Kept wanting to look out the window to check my vehicle, didn't feel safe. Crossing this one off the list. There's supposed to be a Hilton Garden Inn a couple exits South thats much better.

Came in from the southend so it was easy in. Hotel is located amongst others acroos from a shopping mall. Good Italian food within walking distance at TUCCI'S. Hotel very clean and staff was friendly and glad to have you stay. Continental Breakfast was pretty good and you could make your own waffles. Coffee choices were good and even the scrambled eggs werre tasty, Good selection so everyone was satisfied. There were a group of families attending a gymnastics event and we never heard any commotion while we were there. Hotel has a small pool and the area looked inviting.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. The staff is remarkably friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I had a good WiFi connection for my computer. The price was reasonable. I rated "Service" as average only because there was a problem with their ComCast TV cable in that it would blank-out a few times every hour. The bottom line for me is that I'll reserve a room again next year!

The toilets don't flush! The front desk readily agrees, as they hand you a plunger. It's gross and a huge hassle. The guest restroom in the hallway has been clogged for at least 8 hours now, just as it was clogged most of the day yesterday. Does anyone check?! And elevator smells like death. Corporate needs to give this property some attention.
