Great stay. The Best Western is situated on the Clearwater River. Main St. Orofino is just blocks away. The rest of the Hotels in town look like they cater to all the Fisherman. Other family members stayed at a different hotel (about $35 cheaper but you get what you pay for) . Best Western did have a cleaniing station for the fisherman but we only had a couple of boats in the parking lot. A river view is definately the way to go. The property is well maintained and the continental breakfast had everything you could want (except fresh fruit). Staff was very freindly and the rooms were well appointed.

Price very reasonable. Situated on the beautiful Clearwater River. Wonderful staff and services. We had our dog with us, that went very smoothly. Only problem was parking as 4 fishemen with pickups an boats took up 4-7 parking spaces each, despite other parking being available to them. The hotel has a wonderful patio and gardens in addition to reception room for celebrations. The best free breakfast I've experienced. Also pool,hottub an execise area(all indoors.) This is our second stay,will definitely stay again.

Best Western? Really? This is the nicest BW I have stayed at ever. In fact, this place is really nice regardless of the brand of hotel. The setting is incredible. Right on the Clearwater River, you get to wake up with the river sounds right outside your window and the view of the mountains, too. Super clean place, very nice decor, a good free breakfast (better than the Holiday Inn for sure) and the BEST part...THE BED!! The most comfortable bed I have been in period. I've stayed at some nice hotels with nice beds...this one has got to be top of the list. So if you haven't tried a BW lately...this is the one to try out. Too bad they aren't all this nice!

I've stayed at this hotel a couple times in the last several years. I have always found the hotel very well run and well kept. The rooms are clean and well cared-for. The breakfast is about as good as you can expect for a free, hot, buffet breakfast at a hotel. The location right on the river is the best spot in town. My only complaint would be that the in-room heaters/air conditioners are quite loud when they turn on during the night. Woke me up several times. Oh, and the in-room tvs are quite old and need to be updated. My complaints are very minor so if you are staying in Orofino, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
