I have traveled to Idaho Falls many times on business, and have always stayed at the Shilo Convention Center right by the airport. The rooms are always clean, the customer service has always been great, plus I'm usually up here on business for the same company and get their corporate rate. The only downfall of this otherwise great hotel is the fact that usually I stay here on a Friday night, and on the weekends the downstairs bar is turned into a nightclub. Fortunately, the desk staff have always put me in a room at the far end of the hotel away from the partying and noise, even though you sometimes get drunk club patrons wandering the halls, they have never bothered me. Someone should open an actual nightclub in Idaho Falls to take advantage of the fact that there isn't one there besides the Shilo Bar. Despite all this, the accomodations are great and the free breakfast buffet that comes with the room has always been good.

Great hotel. The front desk staff were very nice & efficient. The room was very large & spacecious. Came with an iron & ironing board, fridge, microwave, hairdryer & coffee maker. The breakfast buffet was both hot & cold breakfast. It consisted of fruit, muffins, scrambled cheesey eggs, french toast w/syrup, fried potatoes, sausage & biscuits w/gravy. You could get any drink (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, soda) that you wanted. All you need to do is get your breakfast ticket from the front desk every morning. The food was good. The rooms are quiet. We were on the fourth floor & didn't hear the party going on in the conference rooms on the first floor. We didn't even hear anyone in the rooms next to us either. The only weird things were about the bathroom. There was a telephone next to the toilet & the towel rack was in the shower stall opposite the shower head. Make sure to ask for extra towels as they only gave us 3 even though we had 4 people staying in the room. They have a laundry room, exercise room, large pool & spa. The exercise room had a tv, 1 bike & 1 all-in-one weight machine. The laundry room was fairly large with 3 washers & 3 dryers, 2 tables to fold clothes. It was $1.50 per machine (I think). All in all it was a great stay & I would stay there again.

We had driving many hours, were tired and so pleased to stay at the Shilo Inn. It was very reasonable for the large room that includes a microwave and small fridge. The king bed was comfortable (crumply bottom sheets had to be adjusted). We enjoyed a generous (included) breakfast overlooking the river. The windows had been beautifully painted with winter and poinsettia designs.

Shilo Inn is a good value. They provide a shuttle to/from the airport. Hot breakfast included (not great but ok). Pool, etc.
