We just returned from a wonderful week in Idaho which included 2 days in Hailey. We were please we picked The Inn at Ellsworth Estate as it turned out to be a great location with very caring inn keepers. The inn is an easy walk to town and we got great recommendations for places to eat. Cookies were great, the bed was comfortable and the inn keeper was very helpful and open to new ideas. Sitting at breakfast with the other guests and enjoying the food and conversation was perfect. We hope to visit Idaho again and will return to the Inn at Ellsworth Estate.

We were friends traveling together touring southern Idaho. We stayed in several B&Bs. This one was the tops. We were given a huge room with a fireplace & a fantastic view of the mountains.
The inn keeper Steve is a wonderful cook & delightful host. Our breakfast was a delightful fruit cup with whipped cream, scrambled eggs w/flecks of smoked trout & a strawberry pancake for desert. After breakfast I watched a video that I had picked up at Craters of the Moon in the living room while my friend had a few extra winks. This would be a great place for a honeymoon as well as for anyone who would enjoy a restful stay
Breakfast starts at 9am.

We are a group of four adult couples. We arrived on different flights from the East Coast and wanted a place to stay for the night before heading up to Stanley for a week's vacation. With good fortune we found the Inn at Ellsworth Estate. We decided to stay there our first night and our last (early flights on different carriers). We lucked out! The prices for the rooms are comparable to the chain hotels in Ketchum and Sun Valley, but what a difference. The rooms are very large with comfortable beds, some with fireplaces and all with views of the mountains. The innkeeper is a young guy, Steve, who with various family members runs a charming place to stay. There are televisions in some rooms, free internet access and several large common areas including one with a television. The house is furnished with antiques and is very comfortable. On the night of our arrival Steve prepared fresh brownies. For breakfast he did a gorgeous fruit cup, a smoked trout eggs benedict and a delicious strawberry crream cheese french toast. Breakfast is served around nine, but as our flights left early in the am, Steve provided some cereal and coffee for us on our departure day.
The front porch is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the afternoon breeze and a cold beer. Hard to beat.
Steve suggested CK's for dinner. This is a first rate restaurant with incredible fresh entrees, the best bread I have ever had, and outstanding sorbets and desserts. WOW. On our return we were looking for something lighter and Steve suggested the brew pub. Turned out to be another great choice, but the nachos were so good we went for the pizza and salads. Excellent food in a very casual environment.
