Campground is close to the swamp park which was nice ( the main reason for our visit). The campground was clean with bath houses very clean and well kept. The management was very freindly and helpful. There were a few noisy campers but a park ranger kept things quiet for the most part.
On the negitive side of things the sites were very close together and not much shade. Some of the sites( premium reserve sites) were on the lake but fishing was almost impossible because of the heavy vegitation by the waters edge. Even if you could get to the lake the speed boats and water skiers were just to much. There is a nice swimming pool a short walk from campground but it stays really crowded by mostly non-campers who stop in for the weekend. The same held true for the picnic areas.
All in all not a bad campground..I'm sure some people would enjoy the camping there, I just wasn't for us.
