I stayed with a colleague at a conference to save a dime here. Hotel was not great, but I have stayed at worse. Main issue was the bill, I tried several times to get our bill divided up for business reimbursement so I could have my own receipt. Included multiple calls after the trip, was told that the computer that had the info was being reworked, and he coud not get to the reservation- bull. I have worked with people in tough situations before, actually pride myself on dealing with such situations, but this was unworkable. Finally after 5 minutes I point blank asked "So you are saying there is nothing you are going to do for me here" and he said "that's right- I don't have to do anything for you" I was nice the whole time, and he did not curse me out, but by far was still the worst manager I have ever had to deal with of any business ever.

I stayed at this motel after flying across the country and arriving in the late evening with my rental car. It was clear to me when I walked through the door that the room was a smoking one, and when I complained at the front desk, they basically said "too bad, you booked through Hotwire, and we don't have another room." Exhausted, I returned to the room, clearly noting suspicious activity in the parking lot. I slept on the smoky sheets, and was awakened at 4 in the morning, when the people in the next room started talking loudly. The walls are paper thin. When I got to my destination, I had to wash my clothing to rid it of the smoky smell. This hotel should be rated one star, if that. I even called Hotwire to complain.

The minute we pulled up to this hotel I knew I had made a mistake!! The area was truly scary driving through and the hotel was even worse. The place was disgusting, I mean there was hair in the tub, the pool was filthy and the staff very rude. I asked for another pillow and they said no; we asked for a wakeup call that never happened and people walked back and forth outside our room at all hours of the night. I did not feel safe at all and neither did my children. There were scary looking people hanging around the parking lot and really wonder how they get any business at all. Never stay here - even if you have to pay a little more. Your safety and peace of mind are worth the money.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel in January 2008 and were disgusted by the unsanitary hotel conditions and the rudeness of the staff when taking our complaints. Our room was infested with roaches in the bathroom and when I turned the bed down I found the leg of a palmetto bug in the sheets. Upon complaining the front desk clerk was reluctant to change our room. When we insisted we wanted to speak to the manager is when she complied.

She gave us a room that unknown to us had the handle to the toilet broken and it was in the back of the hotel with what appeared to be many unsavory men living in this hotel. We felt unsafe but were tired and were trying to make the best of things. The top flip lock was missing and there was no fridge or microwave in our room. When we went to get ice and soda, we smelled urine around the ice machine and saw a crack vile on the floor!

When we laid down, we noticed the ceiling was cracking over our heads and saw black mold spores as well. Upon needing to use the bathroom is when we discovered that the toilet handle was broken and returned back to the hotel lobby to get a refund and leave.

While there, we noticed some dirty, barefoot, stinky men sitting on the nice lobby furniture and some were sitting on the floor using their laptop computers for the wireless service. The lobby bathrooms were broken and had no hand towels or soap!

Overall, this is a disgusting, roach invested hotel and I would never recommend anyone to stay here. This place is worse than the BATES MOTEL!
