We liked this hotel and the convience of locations to get food. The hotel was also very close the the Veterans expressway which takes you to I-275 in order to get downtown. From our room you could see Raymond James Stadium as well as the Skyline of Tampa. The staff was nice, the hotel was clean,our room was clean, our beds were comfortable and me and my family overall was comfortable. We also liked the City of Tampa. We enjoy ourselves everytime we visit Tampa.

Its not a big or Leisure hotel, but still very nice, room very clean, just loved it, i will stay there again.

We arrived late to hotel after 8pm after driving over 4 hours in traffic from Captiva Island. After experiencing great hospitality throughout our trip in Florida from Ft. Lauderdale to Naples to Sanibel. We were excited to end our trip in Tampa. But sadly there was no friendly smile here. The receptionist took her time and never even looked up to acknowledge us. No name tag. No hello. It was an awkward moment. At least the room was clean, free breakfast, and less than 10 minutes to airport... but nothing memorable.

We stayed in this Hotel while in the area last year and had a comfortable stay and so chose to stay again this year prior to an early flight from Tampa to London, The room was comfortable and convenient on the ground floor for last minute packing etc. and the business centre was useful for checking in for our flight. The Hotel is near the airport so there is aircraft noise also trains run nearby.
I have to say the staff at the Front Desk were mostly helpful but the problem arose when we needed hot water! There was luke warm water in the taps and when I reported the problem to the Front Desk I was told it was due to energy efficiency(!) and to run the bath water for FIFTEEN minutes and it would get hot! This did not happen and it was late so we gave up trying to take a shower or bath .
I have mobility problems and need a hot bath to ease pain in the morning but still no hot water! Eventually after my husband rang the Front Desk yet again we were given the key to the next door room where we could take a shower or bath ! We thought one of the basic requirements in a Hotel is hot water so on checking out my husband requested an adjustment to our bill and eventually 10% was deducted which seemed a derisory amount for the inconvenience we had endured.
Needless to say we will not be staying here again
